Other Courses - NVQ Level II Plant Operation, IPAF & In House
As well as an accredited CPCS test centre and NPORS training provider, MDH Plant Training is able to work with you and address any training requirements that your workforce may need. We offer a wide range of training from MDH ‘in house’ training courses, Health & Safety, Abrasive Wheels, CAT & Genny, Manual Handling, Aluminium Towers etc.... along with NVQ Level II in Plant Operations.
MDH Plant Training Accredited In House Training Courses
This route is ideally suited to small companies who require their employees to operate plant safely and efficiently on their own site and for their company insurance and Health & Safety policies.
MDH in house training courses cover the safety and basic operation of the specified machine for use on the companys’ premises only. A certificate and photo ID card will be issued on completion of the course and is valid for 3 years.
NVQ Level II Plant Operations
Once you have gained a CPCS red trained operator card you will need to achieve 300 operating hours on each category of plant and then complete your NVQ Level II in Plant Operations.
As an accredited CAA (Construction Awards Alliance) centre, working with our small team of Assessors and Internal Verifiers, our system for delivering NVQ’s ensures we achieve maximum results with minimum disruption to the workplace.
IPAF
At the moment, MDH Plant Training is not an accredited IPAF centre but Mark, Senior IPAF Instructor, who works regularly at the National Construction College delivering IPAF training has a wealth of experience and can deliver the following platform types through your own IPAF centre:
- Static Vertical
- Static Boom
- Mobile Vertical
- Mobile Boom
- Harness
- Telehandler Platform - Integrated
